  L'équipage du vaisseau spatial Covenant est en route pour la lointaine planète Origae-6 afin d'y établir une colonie. Sur le trajet, ils découvrent ce qu'ils pensent être un paradis encore intouché. Pourtant très vite, le nouvel Eden va révéler sa réalité infernale. Les survivants vont alors tout tenter pour échapper à une menace qui dépasse l'entendement...
